Beka is a former member of the Georgian parliament and a lecturer in political economy and political sociology. He established a Masters Programme for Industrial Relations which runs in three Georgian Universities and is the supervisor of the program. He is still active as an advocate for fair labor, social, and economic policies.

He has substantial teaching and research experience in the field of the social sciences.  His research experience covers social capital, rural development, fair trade policies, labor, and social policy, and healthcare. 

He also writes for several newspapers and online sources.

Sopo is a researcher at the Institute for a Fair Economy and the Chair of Solidarity Network, an independent care workers union in Georgia. She has been a labour organiser for over a decade and researches and studies labour and social relations. She also writes for various publications.

Rusudan is a member of the Fairwork team in Georgia. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Diplomacy and International Relations, and a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, both from the Georgian-American University.

During her bachelor’s degree, she worked on the following topic – “Georgian nationalism in the process of post-Soviet transformation”. For her master’s thesis, she researched the issue – “Obstacles to the establishment of social partnership in Georgia”. Currently, her research interests include decent working conditions and the enforcement of employer and employee labor rights in the gig economy workplace.

 

რუსუდანი გახლავთ Fairwork გუნდის წევრი საქართველოში. მას მინიჭებული აქვს ქართულ-ამერიკული უნივერსიტეტის ბაკალავრის ხარისხი დიპლომატიასა და საერთაშორისო ურთიერთობებში, ასევე სოციალური მეცნიერებების მაგისტრის ხარისხი.

ბაკალავრის სწავლის პერიოდში იგი მუშაობდა თემაზე - „ქართული ნაციონალიზმი პოსტსაბჭოთა ტრანსფორმაციის პროცესში“. სამაგისტრო დისერტაციისათვის კი იგი იკვლევდა საკითხს - „სოციალური პარტნიორობის დამკვიდრების წინაღობები საქართველოში“. ამჟამად მისი კვლევითი ინტერესები მოიცავს ღირსეულ სამუშაო პირობებს და დამსაქმებლისა და დასაქმებულის შრომითი უფლებების დაცვას სამუშაო ადგილას გიგ ეკონომიკის ფარგლებში.

Ana Chkareuli is a researcher and interviewer for Fairwork in Georgia. She obtained her Master’s from the School of Law, Social Science and Diplomacy at Georgian American University. While working on her master’s thesis, she explored the reconsideration of traditional labour relations by the platform economy. Her research was about investigating the work motivation of people employed in the gig economy.

For the Fairwork, Ana will collect, organise, analyse and interpret data and opinions to explore issues, solve problems, and predict trends.

ანა ჩქარეული არის საქართველოში Fairwork-ის მკვლევარი. მან მიიღო მაგისტრის ხარისხი ქართულ-ამერიკული უნივერსიტეტის სამართლის, სოციალური მეცნიერებებისა და დიპლომატიის სკოლაში. სამაგისტრო ნაშრომზე მუშაობისას ის იკვლევდა პლატფორმული (გიგ) ეკონომიკის მიერ ტრადიციული შრომითი ურთიერთობების გადააზრებას. მისი კვლევა ეხებოდა გიგ ეკონომიკაში დასაქმებული ადამიანების სამუშაო მოტივაციის შესწავლას.

Fairwork-ის კვლევის განმავლობაში ანა შეაგროვებს და გააანალიზებს  მონაცემებს საკითხის უკეთ შესასწავლად.

Revaz is a PR and Social Media Manager at the Institute of Fair Economy. He is also a labour organiser, media and project manager, and a political economist at the Solidarity Network – Union of Healthcare and Service Sector Workers. He researches political economy and social politics in the post-Soviet space.

რევაზ კარანაძე არის პროფკავშირების, “სოლიდარობის ქსელი - მშრომელთა ცენტრის”, და “დამოუკიდებელი პროფესიული კავშირების ახალი გაერთიანების” დამფუძნებელი და გამგეობის წევრი.  2022 წლიდან არის “Institute for Fairwork”-ის მკვლევარი და გუნდის წევრი საქართველოდან. რევაზი იკვლევს საერთაშორისო პოლიტიკურ ეკონომიკასა და სოციალურ პოლიტიკას პოსტსაბჭოთა სივრცეში. მისი კვლევის მთავარ ხაზს წამოადგენს ჯანდაცვის პოლიტიკა და შრომის უფლებების კვლევა ქართულ ჰოსპიტალურ სექტორში. რევაზი არის გერმანიის კასელის უნოვერსიტეტის მაგისტრი საერთაშორისო პოლიტიკურ ეკონომიკაში.

Khatia is a researcher and interviewer for Fairwork in Georgia. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, the direction of International Relations from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She was awarded a Master’s Degree in European Integration and Employment Relations by the Georgian American University. During her studies, she was a member of the Young Diplomats Club of Georgia. 

Her master paper “Features of GIG Economics in Georgia and International Practice”, is focused on the working conditions of people engaged in the gig economy in Georgia. She worked on the paper for a year and, based on the research findings, tried to develop recommendations aimed at improving existing working conditions.

Davit has been a Member of the Georgian Bar Association since 2016. From 2019 to 2021 he was a Member of the Labor Committee of the Georgian Bar Association. He is a Doctoral student at Caucasus University and a Board member.

Davit is also the chief lawyer for the Trade union Solidarity Network – Workers center; a board member, and Chief Lawyer for the New Confederation of Independent Trade Unions. 

His current research interests include the protection of employees’ rights in public service, platform workers' rights, and the legislative regulation of remote work.

Michael Adeishvili has a Doctor’s  Degree  in Economics (1987), analyst of Sustainable development and Industrial policy. Co-founder of  “Georgian Greens” and Green party of Georgia. He is co-author of the Conception of Sustainable Development and the  Green Economic Doctrine of Georgia (1990).

 

He has 30 years experience of working in research, educational, state, and nongovernmental institutions as a lecturer, researcher, and public policy-maker. He worked for the Ministries of Economy, Finance, Public Health,  Transport and Telecommunications and Statistics of Georgia and several nongovernmental and commercial organizations.

 

Michael is the author of more than 50 articles and research papers. His research interests are Economic and Macroeconomic policy, Industrial policy, Sustainable development, Sustainable energy, Climate change, and Heterodox economics.
